You may want to read the Senate’s recently released five volume 966-page report on the Russia investigation. Remember, the Senate is controlled by Republicans. Their report notes “hundreds of actions by Trump, his campaign, and his associates in the run-up to the 2016 election that involve some degree of participation by Trump or his associates in Russian activity” to “influence, or attempt to influence, the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.”

May 30, 2019, an FBI “Intelligence Bulletin” memo was issued from the Phoenix Field Office identifying QAnon-driven extremists as a domestic terrorism threat.

I suggest you re-read Volume 5 of the report. It very clearly, and in great detail, outlines the manifold meetings and arrangements between members of the Trump campaign and Russian intelligence officers. It reports, again in great detail, how members of his campaign coordinated with individuals and groups associated with Russian intelligence agencies When I say ‘great detail’ I’m talking about dates and times and places; I’m talking about having a record of the length of some of the phone calls. Here’s an example:
On Sunday July 31, at 9:15 p.m., the day after speaking at length with Manafort, Stone called Gates. Ten minutes later, Stone had two phone calls with Trump ttiat lasted over ten minutes. Stone then emailed Jessica Macchia, one of Trump’s assistants, eight draft tweets for Trump, under the subject line “Tweets Mr. Trump requested last night.”
Volume 5 is almost 1000 pages long. It received bipartisan support for its publication in the Republican controlled Senate. It’s damning.

The Russia Report CONFIRMS that the Democrat Party used Russian assets to attempt to gain negative information about a political opponent, Trump, before the election. I find it quite interesting that you completely ignore that juicy detail while claiming that phone calls made with no evidence of anything wrong is somehow bad. 3 years they spent on this BS and they found NOTHING ILLEGAL done by Trump. NOTHING.

Instead of buying MRAPs for the police, invest that money in social workers and health care workers. Doctors and nurses in Emergency rooms deal with people high on drugs, people who are violent, people who are suicidal ALL THE TIME, and they managed to do it WITHOUT SHOOTING ANYBODY.

Prison reform. Yes, Trump signed the First Step Act. That bipartisan legislation had been passed in various forms in the House for years, but Republicans in Congress repeatedly blocked it…until Trump became POTUS. Trump didn’t create or initiate prison reform. He simply said he’d sign it, and then the Republicans who’d opposed it decided it must be okay. Even then, he insisted the funding for First Step be reduced to the point that it’s nearly toothless.
But look at what else Trump has done for prisons. He disbanded a program to create federal prison education systems, he closed federal halfway houses, he ended community-based violence prevention programs, he suspended the national forensic science commission. But yes, he signed the First Step Act which reduced some federal drug sentences. I’m not impressed.
HCBUs — Trump likes to say he ‘saved’ them. Again, all he did was sign education legislation that Congress had been working on for months, one part of which included US$85 million to HCBUs. It didn’t ‘save’ them, but it made life easier for them. And again, it wasn’t Trump’s legislation.

Billy, here’s the thing. I DO passionately dislike Trump. I also passionately disliked G.W. Bush. But I want every president to succeed, because even if I disagree with them, I’ve always thought they had the best interest of the country at heart. If you look back over the years, whenever I criticized President Bush, I always used his correct title. Because I respect the office. I think Bush was a terrible president, but I think he was trying to do what he believed was best for the country.
I don’t think that’s true of Trump. I think he’s only concerned about himself. I think he’s brought the nation and the office of POTUS into disrepute. And I won’t forgive him for that.

Trump has lost nearly half his wealth during his time in office. He is not helping himself at all. unlike other presidents such as the racist Obama,the rapist Clinton and his evil wife, who got filthy rich after leaving office.

The establishment republicans know they are on the way out and this is why they have jumped ship to hang with the establishment democrats. The Russian investigation against Trump was an attempt at a bloodless coup, period. They knew they could not turn the will of the voters and they have to have their “insurance policy”. The Hillary campaign was just as much in contact, if not more so, with Russia and other foreign nations trying to get dirt on Trump and win an election, not unlike probably all presidents in the past. But again, the hypocrisy is strong with the dems.
As for the police, I am not sure how you expect them to deal with “only crime”when you are defunding them. 50% of all murders are committed by black men. Do you really think some social program is going to stop this? The reason there are so many druggies and mental patients on the streets is because progressives made it impossible to round these people up and force them into treatment. Here in LA the homeless population has skyrocketed because nobody can be arrested. If they are they are out in 4 hours. No matter how drug induced they are they are back on the streets and the police are powerless to force them into rehab or treatment. So i would love to hear about this grand plan to take billions from law enforcement and invest in treatment plans that nobody will be forced into.
And lastly about Trump. Trump is saying and doing nothing differently than presidents in the past, he just does not hide it like the others did. Obama and Lynch full on called for this illegal attempt to try and subvert the Trump campaign by weaponizing the FBI for political reasons. For someone who claims to respect the office of the president I am dumbfounded as to why you are not up in arms about that.

Again, we have radically different views on this. The policies of Establishment Democrats today are pretty much in line with the policies of Establishment Republicans of the 1950s. Look at the GOP party platform for 1956 — raising the minimum wage, strengthen unions, protect the rights of labor unions, expand Social Security, improved worker safety, equal pay for equal work, additional low-rent public housing, a constitutional amendment providing equal rights for men and women, an immigration policy…providing a haven for oppressed peoples, asylum for thousands of refugees, expellees and displaced persons, strengthening NATO, expanding and protecting national parks.

From creating riots on campus when a conservative speaker is invited to speak, to trying to cancel and boycott anyone who dares not tow the same party line as the left, to claiming that someone saying All Lives Matter is hate speech and should be stopped. And do not get me started on the 2nd. The left’s attempts continue to destroy the 2nd and will stop at nothing until it is gone and our rights to own guns is gone.
Just look at the poor couple in St Lois who had to brandish weapons to protect their home from an angry mop WHO BROKE DOWN GATES and illegally trespassed onto their property. The couple was arrested and charged while not a single person in that mob was arrested. The racist DA in that town needs to be fired and run out of town.
And as for the platform of the Dems. They are nothing but talk. Maybe you are smart but maybe you do not know economics. Artificially raising minimum wage to levels of skilled labor when no skill is required hurts everyone in the end. Jobs are lost, costs of goods go up, and businesses close. You see, the short sighted dems always forget that if you pay the burger flipper $15 an hour, which is what you used to pay the asst. Manager, you now have to give a raise to the Shift Manager. If you give them a raise then you have to the Asst. Manager, then the store manager, then the district manager. And in the end to cover all of these costs you have to cut labor (lay people off) raise prices and most likely lose business and thus have to lay people off, or just close down. When salaries are based on supply and demand there is a balance. Minimum wage jobs were never supposed to support families. But the dems have normalized getting everything for free and no personal responsibility that someone who makes piss poor choices their whole life is supposed to have a well paying job for just breathing and shitting!!
And as for unions, the Dems loved them so much they taxed their union members like crazy because of their health insurance. Hell once they did that while I was still teaching in public school here in LA, I paid a but load of tax on my healthcare, gee thanks Dems for caring so much. The dems also are destroying industries that support 100’s of thousands of union jobs like oil, gas, coal and doing it at the expense of the poor and middle class. Because of their pet “green projects” energy rates are through the roof and who does that hurt most? The poor and middle class, but lets keep chasing the ever elusive man made climate change to make ourselves feel good. To hell with granny paying to run her AC in the 100 degree heat.
No, in a nut shell the democrats do not give a fuck about people. They ONLY care about staying in power and having some downtrodden people to use as votes. How long was Obama in office and what did he do to help? How many of these broken down cities have been run by dems only to be continually destroyed by crime and poverty? The only reason my state is not bankrupt yet is because of the siphoning of dollars from other states. The hell whole that is now San Francisco, a city I lived in for several years, is so bad I would not touch foot in that place now. A progressive dream land.
So again you are lying to yourself about the dems and their motivations. Trump is not looking to hurt people. He is looking to create an environment where those who choose to work hard and strive for greatness have an opportunity to do so.He is not passing any laws that are restricting progress, keeping anyone down, attacking one race or another, or hurting women. None of that is true and it is all made up lies.

If, after four years of Trump as POTUS, you actually believe he is an honest, decent, moral, effective leader, there’s nothing anybody could possibly say to convince you otherwise. You have faith in Trump, and faith is immune to fact and evidence.

Why yes, yes he has. A very simple fact to research and confirm.
Going back to the opportunity zones, you were quick to try and give a link to I guess prove Trump was wrong and did not help with opportunity zones but all the link did was confirm that indeed Trump had worked with private companies get investment in these areas. The factchecker was upset because they could not 100% verify that the 100 billion dollar investment number was correct. They could find documented investment (and not investment is documented which they admit). The author then admits that there is planned investment of over 40 billion dollars and then admits that the 100 billion dollar mark touted by Trump and Senator Scott was backed by the Treasury department as the expected investment over the lifetime of the program. So again, a factual piece of evidence showing that not only did Trump back the Opportunity Zones but the numbers are becoming real in terms of dollars and investment.
You see, you do not need faith when their are facts. I can go on an on about all of these. I am sure you will find an article or story somewhere that will refute one part of the story and claim that makes the who story false as you did with the opportunity zones.
But I will leave you with this last one, because this is one of the most important ones. While I am pretty sure that democrats like you are not racist and bigots, most of the democrat leaders are. The leaders have all but called any black speaker from the RNC over the last week an Uncle Tom. They called them tokens and symbols of RNC white power. But the democrats will trot out a near politically brainless Cardi-B to interview Biden, knowing full well the interview will be beyond fluff, only so the Democrats can attract her 70 million also politically clueless followers. She is no better than a cotton picking slave to them. They used her and her ignorance to promote a man who is mentally ill and incapable mentally of holding the office of president, regardless of policies. The man is not mentally all there and you know this. You cannot sit here with a straight face and not tell me you think the man is has his mental ducks in a row. It is so bad now that even Pelosi is calling to cancel the debates because they are so scared of Biden being live on camera for nearly 2 hours unscripted. You have to know this.
